h. A CENTENNIAL THEME PARK WAS ESTABLISHED AT THE MANDEVILLE REGIONAL HOSPITAL IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE INTERACT CLUB OF BELAIR HIGH SCHOOL
2.YEAR 2004-2005
a. FIVE SCHOOLS IN RURAL MANCHESTER WERE SUPPLIED WITH
STORAGE TANKS FOR POTABLE WATER. ( 150,000.00 JAD)
b. HURRICANE RELIEF TO THE FARMERS IN MANCHESTER AFFECTED BY HURRICANE IVAN (5 million JAD). THIS CONSISTED OF SEEDS.
c. A KAWASAKI MULTI-PURPOSE FARM TRACTOR DELIVERED TO THE CARIBBEAN CHRISTIAN CENTRE FOR THE DEAF. THIS PROJECT WAS FACILITATED BY THE ROTARY CLUB OF NAPLES FLORIDA (COST 9,000.00 USD)
d. THE SKILLS TRAINING CENTRE OF THE CARIBBEAN CHRISTIAN CENTRE FOR THE DEAF, RECEIVED $15,862.00USD WORTH OF TOOLS
3.YEAR 2005-2006
a. MG 51709; TO SUPPLY CRITICAL CARE EQUIPMENT TO THE
MANDEVILLE REGIONAL HOSPITAL (COST 50,000.00 USD)
b. ADDITIONAL CLASS ROOM BLOCK, ERECTED FOR THE SCHOOL
OF HOPE (INSTITUTION FOR THE MENTALLY CHALLENGED)

- SHORT TERM PEACE SCHOLARSHIP TO THAILAND $5,000.00 USD
- GEORGIA ROTARY SCHOLARSHIP FOR AN INTERACTOR
c. PERIMETER FENCING OF THE HATFIELD, JUNIOR AND PRIMARY SCHOOL ($ 1.5 MILLION JAD)
5. YEAR 2007-2008
• Erection of a classroom at New Green Primary & Junior High School……$1.9 Million JAD
• Completion of the Ambulance project for the Jamaica Red Cross Society – Manchester Branch ($42,500.00 USD)
• Secured $1.2 Million, two year insurance for the Ambulance for the Jamaica Red Cross Society
• Christmas Carol Service for the community
• Christmas Treat for children at the Waltham Basic School
• Provided 100lbs of rice to the Mandeville street people
• Donated four wheel chairs to indigent persons
• Three Scholarships were awarded;

Miss Jennifer Hutchinson……..Manchester Victim Support Unit (University of Chulalongkorn, Bangkok Thailand)….Peace and Conflict Studies
Young Mr. Neville Brackett, a product of our Manchester High School Interact Club….Georgia Rotary Student Programme.
• Donation of $5,000 to the Rotoract Club (UWI)
• Formation of a new Interact Club at Bishop Gibson High School for Girls
• Delivered 23 electric Beds to the Mandeville Regional Hospital in conjunction with the Rotary Club of Naples, FL ($9 Million JAD)
• MG# 63457 contributed US$200 to Katrina Relief Project
• MG #65206 to deliver an aesthetic machine to the Mandeville Regional Hospital valued at US$30,000 in conjunction with the Rotary Club of Cape Coral, Gold Coast, FLORIDA
• Donation of $25,000 to the Jamaica Red Cross Society to assist with relief efforts after of Hurricane Dean
• Replaced the Roof of the home of Mr and Mrs Eustace Colquhoun which was lost in Hurricane Dean. The Rotary Club of Cape Coral, Gold Coast pledged $650 towards this effort
• Vocational Service Awards Banquet was held to recognize the worthiness of individual vocations as an avenue to serve our community
• Career Expo at BelAir School for 4000 students (9th-11th grades)
• Club Fellowship held jointly with the Spanish Town Rotary Club
• Donation of $200.00 USD to the District Haiti food assistance programme
FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES:
• Rotary Roast 2007 netted $1,200,000.00
• Valentine’s Dinner & Dance netted $58,000.00
• Wine & Cheese Party netted a profit of $350,000.00

• $3,300.00 USD to the Annual programmes fund, the source of our programmes world wide
• $1,000.00 USD to the permanent fund, to secure the future of rotary
