Located in the roundabout at Travis and O'Kelly streets, this whimsical fountain features four children scaling a mountain for a day's adventure. The fountain was purchased through fundraising efforts of residents and business leaders and was spearheaded by resident Garvin Haynes to coincide with the streetscape revitalization of Olde Town Conyers in 2001. The Adventure Mountain fountain was dedicated on April 26, 2001.

The cases and adventures of the police forces in and around Sparta, Mississippi.--Kenneth Chisholm

Bill Gillespie is a police chief in a small town in the American South, and later becomes sheriff of the county. As Bill tries to solve crimes and catch criminals, aided by his capable investigator Virgil Tibbs and police lieutenant Bubba Skinner, he must navigate tricky small-town politics. Racial tensions often run high in the South and this theme is frequently explored. Bill's personal life is often portrayed in this TV drama, as well.

and admired in the most unexpected places!

ABOUT COVER ART: Unveiled at the Nancy Guinn Memorial Library's 100th birthday celebration in February 2019, Mount Pleasant, SC artist Beau Smith's "Beautiful Frogs" parent and child copper sculpture sits on a custom-designed stone lily pad just outside of the library entrance. Funded by the Conyers Civic League and dedicated to the memory of the late Superior Court Judge Clarence R. Vaughn, Beau Smith's artwork brings joy and allows people to reconnect with nature, whimsy, and innocence. A Beautiful Frog was originally installed at the library in 2012,

but was stolen in 2017. The Civic League raised funds to commission and proudly dedicate the new sculpture.
