Directions for spelling activities . . . have fun!

1. ABC Order (20 pts.)

a. Write your words in alphabetical order.

2. Reversed Words (20 pts.)

a. Write your words in ABC order – backwards!

3. Syllable Spelling (20 pts.)

a. Write each word into syllables. Use the dictionary.

4. Write the words and circle all the vowels. (20 pts.)

a. Write all of your words and circle all vowels.

5. Write the words and circle all the consonants. (20pts.)

6. Spelling Flash Cards. (25 pts.)

a. Make a set of flash cards for studying your words.

7. 3 times each (25 pts.)

a. Write each one of your spelling words three times.

8. Rainbow Spelling (25 pts.)

a. Write each one of your spelling words at least 5 colors each.

9. Stair Step Spelling (25 pts.)

a. Write your spelling words on graph paper by adding one letter

on each line then outline the letters with a color.

a. Write a story using your spelling words.

a. Draw a detailed picture. Hide your words in the picture.

24. Spelling Letter (40 pts.)

a. Write a letter to someone using your spelling words.
