THE LAW OF DOUBLE JEOPARDY

Dear precious reader, this universe is governed by Laws, just as nations are governed by laws. There are universal physical Laws, and universal Spiritual Laws. Ignorance of these governing laws, does not exonerate a person in any way. For instance, if an innocent child decided to jump from the third floor of a storey building, perhaps to fly, he or she might be ignorant, but his state of ignorance will not save him or her from the penalty of seeking to break a physical law - the laws of gravity.

In the realm of the spirit, too, there are laws. Many people are ignorant of these laws. One of such laws can be found in the following scripture;

God’s word said in Ezekiel 18:4 “Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the SOUL THAT SINNETH, IT SHALL DIE.”

God’ word also said in Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God”. Please, note the phrase; “…all have sinned”

From these two scriptures, all humanity has broken a divine law, and the destiny of all mankind was just too obvious. Consequently, God decided to put a mechanism in place for men to ESCAPE death, taking advantage of another universal divine law, called, the ‘LAW OF DOUBLE JEOPARDY’. This can be found in both human as well as divine law.

A proviso exist, called, the law of double jeopardy, in human court of law; [example; 5th amendment prohibition, United States. constitution]

This law states that; ‘A PERSON CANNOT BE TRIED TWICE FOR THE SAME CRIMINAL OFFENSE’.

On the basis of this universal divine law, God therefore sent His Son into the world, to be tried and sentenced by Pontius Pilate, and put to death by the Jews. In effect, any person who opens the door of his heart, and invites Jesus to come, and live in him or her, immediately, QUALIFIES to benefit from this law. Henceforth, legally, any other subsequent VERDICT OF DEATH passed by any spiritual court of law, against that person, using SIN as the basis, becomes NULL and VOID.

The verdict is, promptly, set aside by a higher court - the supreme court of Heaven, where Jesus Christ is, Himself, the CHIEF JUSTICE.

WHY? He (Jesus) being, also, our intercessor, knows too well that He can not be tried, and sentence to death TWICE, having been tried and sentence to death, previously, for the same offense. Once He (Jesus) lives in that person, both of them are inseparable, and considered to be one and the same person. The verdict then, legally, contravenes the universal Law of double jeopardy. Hence; Jesus said in John 5:24 “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.” P.T .O

God’ word said in Galatians 2:20 “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but CHRIST LIVETH IN ME: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me”

God’ word said in Romans 17:28 “For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring”

Jesus said in John 15:6 “If a MAN ABIDE NOT IN ME, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.”

Jesus said in John 3:16 ”For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.”
