SUMMARY Responsible for providing leadership and development of proactive, broad-based, long-term perspectives for the organization's information and business systems, including technology strategies and solutions. Serve as the executive champion for design, development and implementation of global IT platforms and business process integrations.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES Provide strategic, innovative, and collaborative leadership to the Information Technology department so that technology and staffing lead and enable the organization's strategic objectives and priorities. Ensure the integration of information systems/technology solutions into strategic programming, partnership and fundraising opportunities. Lead and oversee the information and data integrity of portfolio of global applications to improve organizational effectiveness, business processes, and efficiencies including Enterprise Systems, Web Applications, and Financial Management. Provide leadership for global IT project management including direct computer applications development, computer systems operations, help desk support, and production scheduling functions to continuously improve IT efficiency and effectiveness, and to meet the strategic needs of the organization. Develop new areas of focus to lead and develop global business processes responsible for identifying and supporting strategic global and local IT investments and IT resources. Lead the enterprise-wide effort for development and continuous improvement of functional systems and business process integration. Serve as executive level resource for understanding emerging technology trends and potential organizational impacts. Advise executive management on current and leading technology and the potential organizational benefits. Direct technology planning of annual operating plan with key internal and external stakeholders. Direct the forecasting, budgeting, capital planning, procurement and standards with team members and key stakeholders, and periodically monitor progress to ensure performance is on target. Serves as a member of the global leadership team and participates in the development and implementation of strategic and tactical plans as well as general management of the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE Minimum of 10 years of demonstrated experience leading a technology division within a complex, international, technical, and/or business environment Demonstrated experience in IT architecture and design to support organizational needs and solutions Strong project management experience leading complex system implementations Solid understanding of Salesforce, preferably in a fundraising environment Demonstrated ability to work effectively with both internal/external teams Strong leadership and communication skills Prior experience in enterprise-wide implementation of information and communication technology transformations and implementing SaaS, SoA solutions, and Cloud technologies (Azure) Working knowledge of client/server systems and web development methodology, relational database design (SQL & Oracle), Reporting, Business Intelligence, SQL Server, and application development using (C# and .Net) Working knowledge of LAN/WAN communication architectures and data center operations Prior experience with IT sourcing, vendor management and contracting is preferred Prior experience working and living in an international community is preferred; second language beneficial. Knowledge of working environments in the developing world in the non-profit/socio-economic development sector ideal Ability to speak, understand and write fluently in English

Chief Digital Officer Office of the President Richmond, VA; Washington, D.C.; or US Remote President/CEO

SUMMARY The Chief Digital Officer (CDO) is the top executive responsible for leading ChildFund's digital transformation to achieve the organization's strategic goal of reaching 100 million children and families in a rapidly changing world. As a member of the CEO Management Team, the CDO provides the thought leadership and executive oversight required for all digital initiatives and transformation projects while closely monitoring external opportunities and global trends in international development. ChildFund aspires to be an organization that leads with a digital focus in all we do including our programs for children and communities, developing connections with our donors (including sponsors) and efficiently managing our businesses processes for a virtual global workforce. The CDO will work within ChildFund's moving and inter-connected parts in order to enable the organization to effectively respond to donors, sponsors, and project participants with new digital approaches.

The CDO will bring extensive experience in the digital space, a combination of focus and agility, and the ability to drive teams, processes, and technology change in a dynamic and complex operating environment. The highly creative and resourceful CDO will exhibit strong emotional intelligence, self-motivation, and strong analytical skills to both bring ChildFund up to speed digitally and keep ChildFund ahead of the digital curve.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES ? Remains alert and responsive to any child safeguarding risks, acquire relevant knowledge and skills which will enable you to promote strong safeguarding practices, understand the child safeguarding policy and procedures, and conduct yourself in a manner consistent with the Child Safeguarding Policy. ? Interacts and collaborates closely with, the CEO, the CEO Management Team and board members to create a digital vision and strategy for the organization, and to identify the opportunities for differentiating digital capabilities and solutions.

? Leads the creation of a digital roadmap to advance that vision and strategy for core business processes, sponsorship services, and program delivery to the communities in which ChildFund works. Provides a single point of coordination and executive oversight for all digital initiatives and transformation projects.

? Leads internal and external cross-functional teams including line management of Internal Communications and Planning positions and consultants.

? Develops and maintains strategic partnerships with technology firms, digital companies, professional networks, and vendors to identify and implement strategies in support of ChildFund's strategic priorities.

? Leads the process to identify and evaluate internal digital asset capabilities and strengths. Assesses external digital opportunities and threats as key inputs to making the best decisions on business strategy, given funding realities.

? Ensures that the organization is developing the digital assets and capabilities that will be needed to survive and thrive in the midterm and long term.

? Acts as a champion and change agent in leading the organizational changes required to create and sustain enterprise wide digital capabilities. Defines and reports on digital business KPIs and metrics that represent progress against digital goals.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE This role provides direct access to the inner workings of ChildFund and to highly sensitive information. The successful candidate will be discrete, high-energy, agile-minded, strategic, proactive, a direct communicator, highly organized, and committed to the vision and values of ChildFund. In addition, the following requirements will generally define the successful incumbent:

? A minimum of 15 years work experience with at least 5 years of experience in digital

strategy; prior experience in a non-profit or a multi-national organization is a plus.

? Proven track record of leading a successful organization-wide digital transformation

? Deep understanding of the evolving digital world on both the demand side (how

people/companies are using technology) and the supply side (emerging technologies)

? Experience working successfully with board directors

? Mission-driven; passionate about ChildFund and related constituencies

? Good understanding of self and strong personal presence

? Excellent oral and written communication skills, presentation skills and facilitation skills;

ability to explain digital concepts and technologies to business leaders, as well as

business concepts to technologists

? Strong strategic and analytical skills, including financial analysis; ability to process

qualitative and quantitative data

? Willingness to work hard and take direction--but also creatively solve problems for which

the answers aren't always obvious

? Willingness to travel in the US and internationally

Fluency in written and spoken English required; professional proficiency in French

or Spanish is a plus
