Abstract How are university departments and research institutes to safeguard and develop the technical, ethical and psychological health of research groups, the leadership of group leaders and research-stakeholders' trust in research? The workshop explores recommendations for Heidelberg University, the Max Planck Society, funding agencies and journal publishers / editors as well as implications for the careers of early stage scientists.

Participants are invited to contribute with short presentations of appr. 15 minutes. Topics for presentations will be provided shortly with the workshop programme.

Target group 20 graduate students (Master and PhD) and early stage postdoctoral fellows of all disciplines (sciences and humanities)
