GPA/Rank in Class

The class is ranked using all grades earned. Rank is computed at the end of

term 2 for seniors and term 4 for all students. GPA is determined by dividing the total number of Grade Points by the number of grades earned during the year. The number of Grade Points = Base Points + Weighted points. Base Points are determined by adding Grade Points earned in each course with:

A = 4, B = 3, C = 2, D = 1, F = 0

Weighted Points are determined by the number of weighted courses in which a grade of C or higher is earned. Weighted Points are determined by multiplying the Total Base Points by a percentage (multiplier) in the table below. A student not completing a full class load will have Weighted Points reduced by one Multiplier.

*If a student’s number of weighted classes at the end of term 4 is not equal to or higher than the number of weighted classes at the end of term 2, the semester GPA will be skewed, and the adjustment will be reflected in the Year GPA.
