INVITATION TO BID: TV Displays for Classrooms ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

SPECIFICATIONS

The School District of St. Joseph, St. Joseph, Missouri, will accept sealed bids for TV Displays for Classrooms, meeting the following specifications, until 10:30 a.m. CDST, Thursday, March 11, 2021, Troester Media Center, Room 3, 3401 Renick Street, St. Joseph, Missouri, 64507, at which time and place the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.

Bids received AFTER SAID TIME will be returned unopened.

Envelopes containing bids shall be clearly marked: BID: TV Displays for Classrooms

Companies bidding shall certify the bid with signature at the end of the BID FORM.

Bids on all equipment shall be on new, current models, approved in these specifications. Determination of "approved equal" items will be made after the bid opening.

Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities or Inconsistencies therein, including without limitation the rights to reject any or all nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced or conditional Bids and to reject the bid of any Bidder that the Owner believes that is not in the best interest of the Project.

The St. Joseph School District reserves the right to accept the lowest or best bid.

Bids MUST include individual Unit Pricing AND Total Bid Price for each item.

Dealer may not alter bid specifications in any way.

The District has a policy (DJD - Local/Domestic Purchasing) allowing for a preference to local bidders whose bid is within $1,000 of the lowest bid if the lowest bid is from a non-local vendor. In order to be eligible for this preference, vendors must provide the following with their bid:

? Tax payment receipt from Buchanan County evidencing that property taxes (real and/or personal) are current and paid to the District

Local is defined as a business operating within the geographic limits of the District who pays property taxes which are received by the District, with the majority of its primary business operations, including, but not necessarily limited to, production, operation, purchasing, billing, marketing, management, and administration, occurring within the District limits. "Local" does not include the following:

a. Those businesses with only a local St. Joseph post office box; or b. Those businesses with a sales presence in the city, but no physical business location within the city

limits; or c. Home based businesses that merely take orders for products shipped from out-of-town to their customers. d. Please include your business's W9.
