L.H.I. Mission Statement

The Lotus Health Institute (L.H.I.) is a health education, publishing and research organization dedicated to the promotion of Clinical Homeopathy and Prana Medicine. L.H.I. was founded in 1987 by Dr. Robin Murphy, ND, (formerly named the Hahnemann Academy of North America, H.A.N.A.).

The primary mission of the Lotus Health Institute has been to offer educational programs, publications, to promote, educate and inform the public of homeopathic and natural health treatments. These services are being offered to individuals, health care professionals, and students wishing to expand their knowledge in the following areas: Homeopathy, Prana Medicine, Herbs, Vegetarian Diet, Ancient Medicine, Qigong (Chi Kung), and Yoga.

Goals of the L.H.I. Educational Programs

The homeopathic curriculum is structured to provide students the knowledge and skills required to:

? Meet the basic requirements of a practitioner of clinical

homeopathy and natural therapies.

? To provide students the knowledge and skills necessary for

the successful practice of clinical homeopathy and natural health care.

? To provide students the knowledge and skills to evaluate the

conditions and problems of clients through homeopathic and natural methods.

? Recommend appropriate treatments/activities, proper health

habits and nutrition tonics to maintain good health.

? To provide students the knowledge and skills to integrate

homeopathic treatments with other alternative therapies such as acupuncture, chiropractic, naturopathic, herbology etc. Students will also learn to manage and supervise integrated health care practices and systems.

? To increase the number of individuals and families sufficiently

skilled to use homeopathy, herbs, qigong and natural therapies into their health care practices.

? To increase the number of well trained professional

homeopathic consultants that are sufficiently skilled to use homeopathy, herbs, qigong and natural therapies into their health care practices.

? To increase the number of medical and health professionals
