OverviewThe purpose of this policy is to ensure that NHE team members are meeting the company standard with regard to outreach marketing,Outreach MarketingAmount of outreach marketing required per week is set by the regional manager based on property performance, amount of on-site office employees and status of property (lease-up/stabilized).At minimum all properties must have professional business cards and property information/pricing sheets to use for outreach marketing. All properties must keep an outreach marketing calendar to plan for upcoming efforts and an outreach marketing log to keep track of efforts that have occurred.Managers are responsible for staying in line with their outreach marketing budget, which also means that budgeted marketing funds are actually being utilized.Below are some basic guidelines as to what a community can do for outreach marketing:Understand your resident demographics and target businesses where your residents work.Establish a Preferred Employer Program and routinely send your PEP specials to the company’s HR offices.Research sponsorship opportunities with Preferred Employers/large area businesses.Utilize LinkedIn to find contact info on HR and recruiting personnel at large employers. If the community does not have professional print collateral, contact Marketing for assistance creating/printing rack cards or price sheets. If the community does not have promotional items to use for marketing, create stickers with the community’s info that can be placed on boxes of doughnuts/cupcakes/bags for outreach. Think outside the box and make it memorable; create an “afternoon pick-me-up” bag with energy drinks and protein bars. Pick up empty dome cups from Starbucks, include a $5 gift card and tissue paper. Always include your community’s info and your business card. ................
