Entering Marking Period Grades in STARS Classroom: A Quick Guide for Elementary School Teachers
STARS Classroom is a new, optional tool that enables teachers to enter report card grades from any internetready device. Elementary School may use STARS Classroom in lieu of the Elementary School Performance System (ESPA) or a handwritten report card to report subject marks for students in grades K-5.
Step 1: End of Marking Period
Your school's administrator will let you know when you may enter grades for a given marking period. Do not attempt to enter grades in STARS Classroom until your school's report card administrator confirms that the system is ready for data entry.
Step 2: Log in
Type on your internet browser, which will take you to the home page. STARS Classroom is designed to work on any browser or internet-ready device.
Step 4: Select a Class to View
Once you click on a class from the landing page, STARS Classroom will display the roster for that official class.
