By submitting this form you and your organisation confirm that you agree to each of the following:Public Practice involves shortlisted Authorities in the assessment of potential Associates. You, or the line manager named on this form, will be expected to participate as an assessor in a placement workshop on either 1, 2, 3 or 4 September 2020. Please hold at least one of these dates in your diary.Authorities will have the opportunity to meet potential Associates and express preferences over the Associate they would like to fill the placement role. However, Public Practice will make the final recommendation on the selection and placement of Associates. Authorities have the right to accept or decline recommendations.Associates will attend an induction training course from 30 November – 2 December 2020. Unless otherwise agreed, Associates will join Authorities in post from 3 December 2020.From 30 November 2020 – 29 November 2021 Associates will be required to attend the Public Practice R&D Programme within 10% of their contracted hours. R&D Days are held every other Friday throughout the year and are run by Public Practice and ‘hosted’ in turn by Authorities either online or physically subject to guidelines. You will be expected to engage with your Associate to help shape part of the R&D day hosted by your Authority. Authorities are required to pay a placement fee to Public Practice upon entering into contract with an Associate.
