|The ALTA Program staff has established a comprehensive training plan to ensure that new adult education practitioners are well prepared to instruct adult |

|basic and literacy education learners. Below is a list of the initial sessions. The assigned staff development trainer(s) will fill in the completion |

|dates, and the trainer(s) and adult education practitioner will add their signatures and comments as appropriate. Upon completion of the training, the |

|trainer will make copies for the adult education practitioner and the practitioner’s folder. The original will be given to the Director. |

|Week 1 |Overview including PowerPoint Presentation, office tour, upcoming program meetings, Instructional Sessions Schedule and staff introductions; |

| |Documentation: (1) Contact Records, (2) PT Time Records, and (3) Staff Development; Practitioner’s folders, submitting documentation to the |

| |ALTA Program office, cancellation of sessions;* ALTA Program operating hours.** |

*** As per PDE, guidelines, adult learners who miss two consecutive instructional sessions must be contacted and the contact must be documented.
