labor. 2nd AMENDED NOTICE OF WORKSHOP TO SOLICIT COMMENTS ON CURRENT REGULATIONS

The Office of the Labor Commissioner, 1818 College Parkway, Suite 102, Carson City, Nevada, 89706, is seeking public comment on current permanent regulations of Chapter 338 of the Nevada Administrative Code (NAC).

The workshop has been set for 9:00 AM on Friday, September 8, 2017, at the following locations:

The purpose of the workshop is to solicit comments from interested persons on NAC 338 and the following topics related to potential changes to NAC 338 and any other proposed changes that may be submitted at the workshop through written comments or testimony:

NAC 338.005-338.008 - Adding/Revising Definitions for Normal Maintenance and Normal Operations; Service Provider; Apprentice; Recognized Class of Worker; and enforcement of Prevailing Wage laws by Labor Commissioner.

NAC 338.017 ? Truck Drivers: Periods when deemed to be employed on a Public Work.

NAC 338.009-338.070 ? Workers employed on Public Works Projects; Wages; Payment of Wages; Method of Determining Prevailing Wage Rate; and Doubt about Prevailing Wage Rate.

NAC 338.090 - Recognition of Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) Job Classifications and Groups and Pay Increases through CBA; and List of Job Classifications and Descriptions with possible additions.

NAC 338.092-338.100 ? Certified Payroll Reports and Owner Operators.

NAC 338.105-338.116 ? Complaint and Determination Procedures.
