Most of the experiments use everyday items or ingredients you would have in your home. Make sure to ask permission first before starting an experiment. You can include other family members in our experiments also. There is an activity sheets to go with each experiment which you can print or create your own. Science activity pack:HistoryNew Project: Thank you to everyone who completed the “People in History” projects. There is a fantastic selection to view on the class blog. You can continue working on this project over the next few weeks however I would like to give you a new project also. Select any significant historical event which you are familiar with or something which you would like to learn more about. So for example, WWII is a very broad topic, but you could select a part of it such as Technology during WWII. Create a presentation of your choice on an important historical event. Email me the file once it is finished please. Include a maximum of 8 slides including the title/cover slide. Make sure to use a title on each slide and short points of information. Pictures are an excellent way to explain a point also. ?Here is a list of some ideas but you may choose whatever you like. Tools: Paper, coloured pencils or markers, glue, photo of yourself. Step 1: Cut a picture of yourself out and stick on the bottom right hand corner of a page (if you don’t have a suitable photograph just draw yourself)Step 2: Use your imagination, think about all the things you love or what you are looking forward to when lockdown is over. Draw anything that makes you happy.Step 3: Colour, make it bright and vibrant.I would love to see what you draw. Send them to me so I can display them on the class blog.
