Goals

This course introduces various types of research methodologies and ultimately supports learners to design their own research for a MA thesis and essay writing. It also presents different types of research methodologies in that learners are able to learn ways for eliciting research topics, raising research questions, selecting methodologies for collecting data, techniques for analysing those collected data, and skills for reporting findings from the conducted research.

Objectives

From this course students are able to

● understand types of researches and their respective purposes

● design their own research

● learn how to elicit research topics

● raise research questions

● choose appropriate research methodologies for their own research

● practice ways for collecting and analysing data

● improve skills for reporting the findings from their own research suitable for MA thesis level
