Welcome to Conroe High School in the Conroe Independent School District. Registration is online only. All new students to CISD and all students who were previously enrolled in CISD, who withdrew and are returning to CISD must go online and complete the online registration under New Student Registration. The parent/legal guardian of a student should complete the online registration then come to the school to complete the registration process. The parent/legal guardian must come to the campus in person with the student to finish the process. We look forward to meeting you and your student.

The following items are required for registration:

1. Immunization records 2. Birth Certificate of student 3. Students Social Security Card 4. Proof of residency indicating that you live the CHS boundaries. This can be a current

water, electric, or gas bill. If you haven't received a utility bill we will also accept closing documents or rental/lease agreement of your house or apartment dated within 30 days of registration. 5. Parent/Guardian Identification 6. Unofficial transcripts reflecting credits obtained in grades 9-12 and or final report cards 7. Parent Access Center

Parent Access Center is a free program available to all CISD parent/guardians that allows viewing of helpful information regarding student attendance, report cards, progress reports, daily grades, state test results, Students Achieving Excellence (SAE), discipline and available lunch money. Parents may also sign up to receive an email alert when an assignment score is inputted or updated

Parents/Guardians wishing to access this service must have a valid email address.

Account Registration

Access the Conroe ISD website at: Then go to Parents/Students, under Resources for Parents go to Parent Access Center You will see: Login Register If you are registering for the first time or for returning students click Register. You fill out an application, make sure all the information that you input is exactly the same as the one we have in our school records including email address. Within 30 minutes, you should receive an email with a web link, user name, and password.

Multiple CISD Students: You will only have one login and password for the CISD Parent Access system even if you have multiple CISD students; however, you must register each student separately. After registering your second and subsequent CISD students, you will receive a message similar to the following:

"Your email address matches an email currently in our student system. Your password for this student will be the same as your other account(s). You have entered all information correctly."

Please use Google Chrome when registering for Parent Access.

Canvas

Canvas is a way to simplify teaching and learning by connecting all the digital tools teachers use in one easy place. Students are able to see their courses, assignments, modules, and they can also submit work. Canvas is also a tool that allows parents to be enrolled as an observer in their child/ children's courses. In Canvas, parents will have limited permission that will allow them to see what is going on in the course without interrupting the flow of the daily communication. Parents will not be able to submit work on behalf of their children, but they can view grades, upcoming assignments, read announcements and discussions, and the course calendar.

Parent log in is the same as your Parent Access account, you must have Parent Access set up before going into Canvas.

Creating a Ticket in Canvas: Parents if you are able to log into Canvas but are not able to view what you need, please submit a help ticket. You can do this by clicking on Help then click on Report a Problem. CISD will process the ticket.

Web Store/ School Cash Online The School Cash Online is a tool used to pay dues, transcripts, and materials that certain classes utilize. You will need to create an account. Access The Woodlands High School Website: Scroll to quick links: Fees & Web Store (this will take you to the directions) Parents can add multiple students. Parents who use this service will need to do the following: 1. Create an account with the service provider 2. Select Conroe High School 3. Add their child using the student ID number 4. Complete the transaction for selected item

Reminders for Students STUDENT ACCESS LOG IN: Use to look up grades, progress reports, report cards, attendance, etc. Username: CISD username (First 5 letters of last name plus first 3 letters of first name) Password: 6 digit CISD Student ID# (lunch number)

CANVAS LOG IN: Online class information and assignments for each teacher Username: CISD username (First 5 letters of last name plus first 3 letters of first name) Password: stu + student id. (stu123456)
