Scholarships for Fall will be distributed 7/15; Scholarships for Spring will be distributed 1/2 upon delivery of transcript evidencing 2.0 GPA and completion of the requisite number of hours to maintain full time status.THIS SCHOLARSHIP IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO STUDENTS WHO ARE U.S. CITIZENS AND RESIDENTS OF MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TEXAS OR A COUNTY HAVING A COMMON BORDER WITH MONTGOMERY COUNTY.THIS IS A NEED BASED SCHOLARSHIP. THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL HAVE BEEN DILIGENT IN APPLYING FOR OTHER STUDENT LOANS, GRANTS AND SCHOLARSHIPS. INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS or THOSE CONTAINING FALSE/MISLEADING REPRESENTATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. The maximum award per student is $5,000 per semester for eight semesters for a total of $40,000. To apply for this scholarship, students who have previously attended a university MUST supply an official transcript evidencing a 2.0 GPA or higher.
