Applicants requiring accommodation during the interview process should contact Human Resources Services at (807) 475-6148 to make appropriate arrangements.Job DescriptionDuties include, but are not limited to, the following:Complete COVID Screening of students/staff at the Dryden Campus; Prepare and distribute materials;Assist with application and registration inquiries;Create files for upcoming programs;Assist in the preparation of materials and plans for orientations;Update bulletin boards;Help in the preparation and delivery of programs and events;Provide basic office support and services to students, staff and instructors including but not limited to photocopying, faxing, typing, answering phones, and filing;Other duties as assigned; and Working in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.Job RequirementsMust be a full-time post-secondary student at Confederation College in the 2020-21 academic year (minimum - attending entire winter 2021 semester). *Full-time is defined as having a minimum 60% course load, or 40% if you have a permanent disability;Must be returning to Confederation College as a full-time post-secondary student in September 2021 and have submitted a confirmation of enrolment form (available at ) to the Financial Aid department; Must demonstrate financial need which is determined by submitting a financial needs form (available at ) to the Financial Aid department; Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, protected person or an International Student of Confederation College who is legally eligible to work in Canada;Can be a student in any College program in the 2020-21 academic year;Excellent organizational and communication skills; Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office; Ability to problem-solve, take initiative and be a team player;Ability to take direction from staff and instructors; andExcellent customer service skills.Health and Safety ConsiderationsSitting at a computer for extended periods;Use of shredder, paper cutter;Use of cleaning supplies;Some lifting of boxes/materials;Office ergonomicsSalary RangeStudent Rate $14.25/HrShift Type8:30am - 4:30pmHours of Work35 hours per weekContract Duration (if applicable)May 3 to August 27, 2021CategoryOffice and ClericalApplication Deadline4/16/2020 ................
