In med. bowl sift together 1 ½ C. flour, 2 Tbl. poppy seed, ½ tsp. baking soda and ¼ tsp. salt; add to butter mixture alternately with ½ C. sour cream. Spread batter over bottom and 1" up sides of greased and floured pan, making sure batter on sides is ¼" thick forming a rim. ................
