2019 Summer Day Camp Weekly Themes

*Week 1: July 2-5 All Star

All-Star Week is a week that will encourage kids to get moving and explore different ways to be active. Kids will find an activity they like to do through sports, dance and silly games. Hey now, you're an all-star!

Week 2: July 8-12 Canadiana

Canadiana is a week where we will be learning about Canadian history and civilization while celebrating the beautiful cultures of our country! We will also get excited along with the rest of Calgary for the famous Calgary Stampede

Week 3: July 15 - 19 Mystery Masters

Mystery Masters is a week where kids will learn about some of the worlds unknown mysteries! During this week participants will have an opportunity to partake in some locked-room-style challenges allowing them to practice problem solving skills and build teamwork.

Week 4: July 22 - 26 Full Steam Ahead

During the week, we will be learning about science, technology, engineering, art and math through games and experiments! You'll be having a "blast!" at the club as this week will get your brain turning and hands learning!

*Week 5: July 29 - Aug 1 Where the Wild Things Are

Where the wild things are is a week where kids will get to see some of the fascinating creatures from air, land and sea. During this week, kids will learn cool facts about the creatures that wander our earth and

their evolution till date through exciting field trips, craft and games.

*Week 6: Aug. 6 ? 9 Carnival Craze

Carnival Craze is a week where kids will get to celebrate club spirit each day... From wacky hair day to PJ day and everything in between! This week will end with a bang at the All-Clubs Carnival.

Week 7: Aug. 12 - 16 Club-Specific Camps

Club-Specific Camps are unique camps offered at each Club location. Get in touch with your local Club for more information on what they're offering, as well as the other Camps being offered around the City.

*Please note that week's 1, 5 and 6 are four-day sessions due to the Statutory Holidays and staff training
