PLAYGROUND PROGRAM

Join us each week for Playground Program where the

summer fun never ends! Each day we will discover new and exciting activities together. This supervised and structured day camp focuses on discovering creativity through games and crafts, and encouraging socialization with new friends. Each site does the same activities and crafts. We will be outside each day, so please dress for the weather. Due to the nature of the program, there will be no make-up classes. Please bring a snack and water bottle to camp each day! This program has a staff ratio of 1:10.

PRESCHOOL PLAYTIME

Boys and girls, 4-5 years old, are welcome to join us this summer for Preschool Playtime! Activities include playing group games, learning new songs, reading stories, making new friends, and creating awesome crafts! Each weeks' activities will be centered around a theme (we follow the same themes as the Summer Day Camps). Children will leave daily with beautiful art projects and amazing memories. Please note that some activities take place indoors and others will take place outside. Please be sure to dress your child appropriately for the weather. All participants must bring a water bottle daily and be potty trained. If the weather looks severe, please check our Facebook page (@LinoLakesParksAndRecreation) or our weather hotline at 651-982-2448 for up-to-date information on cancellations. Please note that classes cancelled due to weather will not be rescheduled. We look forward to creating fun memories with your preschooler this summer.

ART CAMPS

OUTDOOR ADVENTURE

Does your child love the outdoors? This camp is for kids between the ages of 5-10 years old who like animals, nature, and bugs. We will be creating fun and crazy crafts each day for your child to take home. Don't let your child miss out on making the coolest art projects while making new friends this summer. This camp is led by the Lino Lakes Parks & Recreation Summer Program Staff. Please pack a nut-free snack and drink for your child each day.

NEW YOUNG EINSTEINS SCIENCE ART CAMP

Experiments, engineering, biology, and crafts encompass this science based art camp. Kids 5-10 years old will spend their time doing interactive experiments inside and out while learning science basics with everyday items. Continuing critical thinking and learning in the summertime through projects will keep the kiddos alert and curious with some take home crafts incorporated as well!

T-Ball

Join us for our non-competitive and instructional t-ball classes that are sure to be a hit! Practices are designed to teach fundamental skills such as batting, catching, throwing, and fielding techniques in a low-key environment. Some intersquad game play will take place. All participants must bring their own glove to each class. All participants will receive a t-shirt and participation medal. Volunteer coaches are needed and will receive a refund for coaching. KITE DAY

Help us kick off the summer season by joining us for a morning of kite flying fun! Adults and children of all ages are invited. Each person that attends will RECEIVE A FREE KITE to fly. Variety and styles of kites will be available; however, quantity of each style may be limited. Kites will be handed out on a first come, first served basis while supplies last.

FALL FLAG FOOTBALL

This class is for children who want to learn the basic techniques of football. All participants will learn the basics of blocking, catching, throwing, and running with the football while participating in drills and game play situations.
