The Foundations of Registration Course Interest

Southern Ohio Medical Center is an organization built on a foundation of many departments that are all significant in ensuring the highest quality of care is provided to the patients of SOMC.

It takes all of these departments, jobs and staff members to adequately provide the highest quality of service. Being such a large company, there is much to learn about other departments and how important their role is to the organization.

For instance, the Registration Department plays an integral role within the organization. They are essentially the first face a patient is greeted by when they step in the doors of any SOMC facility.

The Registration team plays a significant part in establishing a first impression with our patients, assisting them in where they need to go, preparing them for their hospital visit and so much more!

Would you like to know what a registrar does on a day-today basis? Well, you now have a chance to learn!

Interest is being gathered for a possible course on registration and learning more about their department. If you are interested, please email Dallas Miller

at MillerDA@.

Empower Retirement to Offer New Online Services

You can also make changes to your beneficiaries, elect to receive electronic communication and monitor your 403(b) account through these new online tools.

Please spend a few minutes looking over these new services. If you have any questions, feel free to call Kitty or Tonya in Human Resources at ext. 8118.
