Kindergarten Supply List - Richmond County School System

Kindergarten Supply List

Dear Kindergarten Parents,

We are looking forward to having your child in kindergarten. This is an exciting time in your child¡¯s life. The

following is a list of supplies that students will need in class. We ask that you do the best you can to provide

your child and your child¡¯s classroom with these materials.

PLEASE LABEL ALL SUPPLIES WITH YOUR CHILD¡¯S NAME.

1. A change of clothing (including underwear and socks) for emergencies. Please label and

send these clothes in a labeled zip lock bag to remain at school.

Emergency clothes are a must have for each student.

2. Headphones (not earbuds) labeled in a ziplock bag

3. A bath size towel for quiet time. (No mats, beach towels or blankets, please.)

4. 2 Boxes of tissues

5. Waterless sanitizer OR bottle of liquid soap

6. One package of 10 Twistable

crayons (regular tip, not thin tip)

or 4 boxes of regular crayons. The Walmart brand of 10 sells for less than $2.00. (The

Twistables are preferred as they will last all year whereas regular crayons break and must

be replaced more often.) No boxes larger than 16 count.

7.

8.

Twelve (12) glue sticks

One package of regular wooden #2 pencils (10 to12 per package) No decorated or

BOYS: Lysol or Clorox wipes

Thank you for your support and cooperation in getting your child the needed items for school.
