I have a question on the travel. It says there could be travel 1-2 times in the 4 years and wanted to check if State will cover expenses if yes what are covered?A. Any travel expenses should be covered within your quote. Travel will not be covered by the State as a separate expense. Q. Can this work be done remotely?A. YesQ. Can any of this work be done from outside of the US?A. Yes, as long as the vendor meets the minimum qualifications and can perform the work described within the RFQQ.Q. Do you prefer local companies?A. We have no preference, the vendor must meet the minimum qualifications. Q. If the work can be done remotely, do you still anticipate the need for the support resource to travel to your location for initial consultation or any ongoing consultations?A. All of the standard activities related to CRM management including: Team data sharing, Automating workflows, dashboards and reporting, Tracking customer interaction, Automating redundant tasks, Sending surveys and targeted/personalized messaging, Improving communication response times, Tracking survey results, Assigning/Tracking team activities. Q. What functionalities are the Salesforce Communities used for?A. The Salesforce Community is used to manage legislatively mandated data from agency partners. Our office works with 30+ Associate Development Organizations who report metrics via the portal on a monthly basis. The portal users are not part of the internal team. There are 100+ users in the portal. Q. What are the third party Appexchange Apps that are installed in the existing Salesforce instance?A. GeoPointe, Field Trip, DupeCatcher, Eventbrite Import, Visone Scan, Dataloader io, Workbench. This is not a static list. We add and remove apps as needed for efficiency or demand. Q. Would you pay for travel costs if an onsite visit is required?A. Any travel expenses should be covered within your quote. Travel will not be covered by the State as a separate expense.Q. Can you explain your current or planned Back-up Process? and why you need a (local) back-up?A. We would look to the contractor to provide a back-up process that aligns to their individual best practices, and to advise accordingly. Q. (Related to Data Integrations): How many systems integrated with Salesforce?A. We don’t have many integrations (perhaps 5), such as PitchBook, which integrates its data on over 120,000 PE professionals, 33,000 companies, 11,000 investors and 5,000 service providers directly into . NICS code integration. Also, Linvio which handles Credit Card Processing, Payment Management, Invoicing, Event Management and Accounting Integration. We also may be looking forward to more integrations to handle AI, Blockchain and IOT company data.Q. (Related to Data Integrations): Is the dataflow unidirectional or Bidirectional? Also point to point connection or any middleware?A. It can be both. For example we could rely on a push/pull of data to help populate fields related to legislative districts. The district information could be made available via a third party app, that is triggered by the address field in the Account Object.Q. (Related to Data Backup): Any external system involved to store the backup?A. We would look to the contractor to provide a back-up process that aligns to their individual best practices, and to advise accordingly. There is no external backup system involved to store backup.Q. (Related to Data Backup): How is it integrated with Salesforce? (Point to Point or Any middleware used)A. N/AQ. (Related to Apps): Any document available on the usage of these Apps?A. All documentation on apps used can be researched via the AppExchange. Apps are integrated on an as needed basis. The contractor will be relied upon to provide recommendations on Apps from the Exchange to meet the specific needs as they occur.Q. (Deliverables, Point 2): Any external system involved to store the backup? How is it integrated with Salesforce? (Point to Point or any middleware used)A. We would look to the contractor to provide a back-up process that aligns to their individual best practices, and to advise accordingly. There is no external backup system involved to store backup. There is a weekly project sync with the contractor & the Seattle Communication Consultant, to discuss any open assignments, deliverables, and status on project requests. We also discuss the hourly burn, and make adjustments as needed. ................
