We are seeking a SVP, Head of Finance Operations to join our Finance team in our Purchase, NY office. The Head of Finance Operations will be responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the Global Procurement, Global Treasury, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions. The Head of Finance Operations will report to the SVP, Director of Finance. The ideal candidate will have strong managerial capabilities, as well as, the ability to take on individual tasks with rigor. They will have strong project management experience, problem-solving skills, attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with solid communication skills.

Duties and Responsibilities: Develop, shape and articulate Sompo International's strategy for US operational finance, including liquidity optimization, global banking, credit control and procurement Lead a team of seasoned managers over the Global Treasury, Global Accounts Payable, Purchase and Charlotte Accounts Receivable teams Develop and maintain relationships with our internal and external customers, our strategic partners and with the wider Finance organization. Support senior business management in strategic planning exercises and other business initiatives Drive the development of operational finance management information reporting, KPIs and dashboards as appropriate Drive growth and development of the operational finance teams, proactively managing talent and succession planning.

Drive process and efficiency improvements across the operational finance teams including, but not limited to, automation of manual processes and the identification and implementation of technology solutions that can be leveraged across the teams.

Develop and implement policies, procedures and internal controls over Treasury operations, ensuring that procedures and related documentation are designed so that internal controls are effective and functioning.

Contribute to other initiatives that the Group undertakes, including leading the integration activities for the operational finance teams.

Assist with internal and external audit requests Management of ad hoc projects

Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

An MBA or internationally recognized accounting qualification 15+ years' experience in Managing/Supervising a team within a General

Accounting/Shared Services function Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) or generally

accepted accounting principles (GAAP) Strong knowledge of internal control framework Strong project management experience Strong verbal and written communication skills Detail oriented and strong problem solver with solid analytical abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines and work well in a fast-paced

environment Ability and confidence to challenge existing procedures and use of systems Additional working hours are required at peak periods Advanced level Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot-tables, v-lookups and macros

experience preferred but not essential Knowledge of SAP, Concur preferred
