Re: Advanced Notice of Proposed Rulemaking for
Hazardous Liquid Public Utility Safety Standards
Docket No. L-2019-3010267
On June 29, 2019, the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (Commission) published in the Pennsylvania Bulletin the above captioned proposed Rulemaking setting the comment period deadline on August 28, 2019.
On August 28, 2019, the County of Chester filed a request to extend the comment period to September 3, 2019.
The Commission recognizes the potential impact these proposed regulations may have and appreciates how well thought out and well composed comments will inform the Commission in our effort to develop regulations that address Pipeline Safety. In order to facilitate the development of informative comments, the Commission is extending the comment deadline to September 11, 2019. Any party that has filed comments may file supplemental comments on or before September 11, 2019. All comments must be filed with the Secretary of the Commission by the close of business (4:30 p.m. EST) on September 11, 2019.
