HELPING SYRIAN REFUGEES IN TURKEY WITH ROTARY

Many people have looked at the terrible suffering being experienced in Syria and wondered, “What on earth can I do that will make a difference?”

Rotary has used its international links to provide a unique means of helping the refugees that make it to Turkey from Syria.

The Rotary Club of London has used its contacts with the Rotary Club of New York, and the Rotary Club of Ankara Bahçelievler, have raised funds, bought essential items in Turkey using the local Rotarians’ bargaining power and local knowledge, and delivered the items to the camps under the guidance of the Red Crescent.

Your donations will go through the Rotary Club of London, will be enhanced by the Rotary Clubs of New York and Ankara Bahçelievler and will go to help the refugees.
