Introduction

The Canada Post Prices booklet is provided as a reference tool containing products and services prices and related general information. It must be used together with the Canada Postal Guide, which provides details on all products and services requirements (e.g., Liability Coverage conditions and exceptions). Consult the Canada Postal Guide at the following address: canadapost.ca/postalguide. Alternatively, customers can call 1-888-550-6333.

Customers should ensure they are using the most current version of Canada Post Prices, which is posted at canadapost.ca/prices.

NOTE: Some words and expressions used in this document have a specific meaning. Please refer to section 1 "Definitions" of the General Terms and Conditions for the definition of specific terms referenced throughout this document.

Counter prices for consumers

Consumer (Counter) prices are to be used by customers who require that the counter staff weigh their item, calculate the price, and affix the postage. Solutions for Small BusinessTM cardholders pricing is found in the "Business Prices" book.

Contract prices

For information on contract pricing, contact a Canada Post Sales representative.

Fuel surcharge

A fuel surcharge applies to Parcel Services. The fuel surcharge is included in the prices for prepaid products. Consult canadapost.ca/fuelsurcharge for more details.

Tax information

All prices and fees published are subject to the Federal Goods and Services Tax (GST), and to the Provincial Sales Tax (PST or QST) or to the Harmonized Sales Tax (HST), where applicable.

Tax rules relating to items mailed to foreign destinations and Canadian Forces Post Offices are as follows:

? not subject to sales taxes if the total price per transaction is $5.00 or more ? if less than $5.00, subject to GST and QST if mailed from Quebec, HST if mailed from Ontario, New Brunswick, Prince

Edward Island, Nova Scotia or Newfoundland and Labrador, and GST only if mailed from the other provinces and territories.

Tax rules relating to interprovincial (consumer) LettermailTM and (consumer) Regular ParcelTM are as follows:

? subject to GST only if mailed from Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia or the Territories ? subject to GST only if mailed from Ontario, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia or Newfoundland and

Labrador to Quebec, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia or the Territories, and the total price per transaction is $5.00 or more and taken at the counter at the time of payment ? if the total is less than $5.00, HST if mailed from Ontario, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia or Newfoundland and Labrador ? subject to GST only if mailed from Quebec and the total price per transaction is $5.00 or more and taken at the counter at the time of payment ? if the total is less than $5.00, subject to GST and QST.

Tax rules relating to interprovincial (consumer) PriorityTM, (consumer) XpresspostTM and (commercial) Parcels are as follows:

? subject to HST if mailed to Ontario, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia or Newfoundland and Labrador regardless of total price per transaction

? subject to GST only if mailed to the other provinces and territories.

Tax rules relating to interprovincial (commercial) LettermailTM, where postal indicia are used, Canada Post Personalized MailTM, Canada Post Neighbourhood MailTM and Publications MailTM are as follows:

? subject to GST and QST if inducted in Quebec ? subject to HST if inducted in Ontario, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia or Newfoundland and Labrador ? subject to GST only if inducted in the other provinces and territories.

Unless covered by a contract or sales agreement, all prices and fees may be changed without notice. In case of discrepancy between printed and online versions, the online version prevails.

Prepaid Products

Prepaid products are flat-priced, postage-included envelopes in regional and national formats, which are purchased in advance and used as required. Prepaid envelopes are also available for shipping documents to the U.S.A. and specified international destinations.

Prepaid envelopes can be ordered by calling 1-888-550-6333.

They can be dropped off at any post office. Depending on the size, XpresspostTM prepaid products can also be dropped off in any street letter box.

NOTE: All prices in the Prepaid Products section already include a fuel surcharge. Option prices are in supplement.

Canada Post defines "Regional", "National", "U.S.A." and "International" as follows: Regional: For use between points within the same region. National: For use between regions within Canada. 8. All associated Return to Sender shipping fees are the responsibility of the customer and are based on the greater of the actual weight or volumetric equivalent of actual weight.

9. The fee for Package Redirection is per package. Shipping costs to the new destination address also apply. Payment will apply upon successful redirection. Package Redirection is eligible for tracked parcels processed through the Canada Post network and destined for Canadian addresses. View the terms and conditions including eligibility requirements.

10. The unpackaged item and oversized item surcharges will not be combined. Customers mailing unpackaged items that are also oversized will only be charged a single fee. For more details, see section 6.7 in the Parcel Services Customer Guide.

11. The barcode label and address correction fee will not be combined. Customers with an illegible barcode that also have an incomplete or incorrect address will only be charged a single fee of $7. 12. For an item that exceeds our maximum size or weight specifications (any dimension over 2 m; length and girth combined over 3 m; weight over 30 kg).
