Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What is the value proposition for connecting Concur and Uber for Business?

A. With Uber for Business, companies can reduce spend while enhancing the traveler experience. The integration between Concur and Uber for Business offers a unique seamless onboarding experience exclusive to Concur clients. Key benefits include:

? Increased visibility and control into the real cost of ground transportation. When clients use Uber integrated with Concur, they not only get a complete, accurate picture of ground transportation spend (i.e. fewer taxi receipts with hand-written amounts), but their employees also get a more seamless expensing experience.

? Duty of Care. Travelers tend to use Uber during trips, providing more data about their most recent location in the event of an emergency. The Uber for Business dashboard enables travel administrators to see all trips in real time by employee name, location, date, or time so it's easier to track down an employee for situations that require Duty of Care.

? Save Your Client Money. Uber rides are, on average, 30% less than a taxi or black car. Uber for Business gives the Travel Administrator visibility into Uber utilization across their organization, empowering them to set policy around allowable vehicle types, locations and times when an Uber can be expensed, etc.

? No Obligation Trial. Concur customers get a free 90-day trial of Uber for Business. In just a few clicks, travel administrators can give their employees access to all the benefits of the Uber for Business and Concur integration. If they do not find value, they can cancel anytime.

? Flexible Billing Options. Uber for Business supports both monthly direct billing and pay-pertrip options. Travel Administrators have the option of bank transfer and credit card payments for monthly direct billing.

? Trip Flagging. Travel Administrators can flag suspicious trips for traveler review directly from the Uber for Business dashboard. Flagged trips will request more information from the traveler or help them quickly refund and bill to their personal payment method.

? Easy Ongoing Management. Once set up, Uber for Business and Concur can automatically manage who has access to the Uber for Business account if they choose the Employee Roster sync option. Employees will be invited and removed from the company's account with a daily sync of the Concur Employee Roster. If client's prefer not to use the auto-sync feature that currently invites the entire company to connect with Uber, they can choose to invite employees to join on an individual basis or upload a .csv file with a list of email addresses. Please see the last page of this document for more details on employee roster sync.
