1.03 Functions and Requirements

Please note – in order to see the full graphic organizer in Part 2, you will need to change the View on the menu in Word to Web Layout.

Part 1: Computer Requirements

When purchasing new software, you should analyze your hardware and operating system to make sure the new software is compatible with your system. Study the Minimum System Requirements listed below. Then look at the three Computer System Specifications below that to determine whether or not that computer system will support the minimum software requirements. Answer “Yes” if it meets the system requirements or “No” if it does not meet the system requirements. Explain why or why not. (For example: It does not have enough RAM)

MINIMUM SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:

WINDOWS Vista, or 7

128 MB of RAM

1 GB of Free Disc Space

8x CD-ROM Drive or Faster

Please note that for the software to work properly, the computer system must have “at least” the above-listed requirements; a computer system with greater than these minimum requirements as to memory, speed, and disk space would even be better. Also, Windows versions from oldest to newest are: Windows 98, 2000, Me for Millennium Edition, XP, Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 10.
