Sports in the past and now

Everything now is very different from the past. A lot of things have changed over the past 30 years. One of these things is the sports. People in the past had a limited number of sports whereas now they have varieties. In the past, people knew only camel racing and horses racing because they didn’t have access or facilities to other sports. Now, the people can practice ball games, sea sports, gym, jogging……….etc. The country provides the schools with the facilities so that children can practice sports in the schools.

Although the interests of people have changed , the elderly still value the traditional sports of the country; camel racing and horse racing . We shouldn’t forget our heritage.

Is watching a lot of TV. bad for you?

Nowadays, TV. has become part and parcel of everyone’s life. Every home has one TV. or more. But the question is “ should we leave children watch TV. a lot?” Some people say that watching a lot of TV. is bad because it has bad effects on eyesight. Besides that when children watch TV., they can’t do their school work. Also, there are some bad programmes on TV. which children shouldn’t watch. Moreover, watching a lot of TV. makes the person feel lonely.

Others disagree and say TV. is important in our lives because we can learn a lot from it. There are a lot of useful programmes. Also we can know more about our country and the world from TV. We can have some fun when we watch games , movies……….etc.

In the end, we have to balance between watching TV. and having outdoor activities.
