HENRY ELLIS John Henry Alonzo Ellis passed away suddenly after a brief illness at the West Parry Sound Health Centre, James Street on Sunday, March 13th, 2005. Age 75 years. Beloved husband of the late Doris. Dear father of Ethel and her husband Randy Newton; Dale and her husband Elwin Smith; Fawn and her husband Harvey Hewett; and Laurie Ann Ellis of Sturgeon Falls. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Doug (Kirsten) and Jeremy; Darrel (Karen) and Andrew; Nathaniel, Hannah, and Doris; Joshua, Ben, Sarah, and Gabriel. Loving great-grandpa of Chase, Barry, Tyrel and Biancha. Dear brother of Alford, Ella, Ross, Alma, Irene and Janie. Fondly remembered by Kay and her family, especially Ed, and fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. NORMA AND MICHAEL LEVETT It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Norma Agnes Louise Levett (nee Rawson) and Michael Anthony Coteman Levett in a motor vehicle collision in southern Spain on Wednesday, March 16, 2005. We take comfort that they are together in their love. They are missed and will forever be in the memories of their children Kate Allen, Brian and Louise Levett, Philip and Marney Levett, and Jennifer and David Eden; their grandchildren Adam Levett, Jonathan Levett and Christopher Levett; Luke Allen and Rebecca Allen and their father Greg Allen; Brittany Levett and Carolyn Levett; Hannah Eden and Beth Eden and their siblings Basil and Beryl Bonner (nee Levett), Peter and Penny Levett and Elizabeth MacGill (nee Rawson). The Town of Parry Sound is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to complement its staff. The Corporation is committed to excellence, realized through strong and effective leadership, strategic and business planning, and a focus on its people and customers.

Major responsibilities of the position include: processing and recording accounts payable transactions, including manual cheques, issuing purchase orders and ensuring purchases are made in accordance with policies and procedures; preparing accounts payable summaries, reports and listings; providing bookkeeping services in support of the management and accounting of the Corporation; responding to enquiries relating to accounts payable and providing backup support to the receptionist/cashier.

The ideal candidate will have completed at least one year of post secondary education in bookkeeping or accounting and will have experience and knowledge in municipal accounting procedures, specifically related to accounts payable in a computerized environment. Good organizational skills, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work within the pressure of deadlines is required. Must be bondable.

IRENE HOLM (JACKSON) 1924-2005

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Irene Holm. She passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, March 17th, 2005 in her 81st year of life.

Predeceased by her loving husband John Holm of Scotland.

Daughter of the late Albert and Josephine Jackson (O'Neil) of England.

Sister to Peter, Albert, Micheal and Peggy of England, Joan of Ireland, and predeceased by her sister Rae of England.

She will be sadly missed by her daughter Caroline, her sons Robert and his wife Linda, Scott and his wife Debbie, Ian and his wife Marian; and grandchildren Ryan, Laura, Micheal, Brandon, Adrian and Brendan.
