I have received a report from my 223rd MP CO that they have 14 soldiers who soldiers who indicate they can not deploy with the unit because they are considered critical by the civilian law enforcement agency. Two of these officers are my PLT SGTs in the 223rd MP CO. 9 belong to Louisville Metro, 2 are Oldham Co officers and 3 KSP troopers. Do we force these soldiers to deploy or allow them to support the LLEA? I need state guidance. Can I force these officers to deploy with their unit.

There are also quire a few cars and trucks that have wrecked or left on the road. We have passed numerous people who are walking. We have given a lot of these people MRE's and Water. We are going to need an emergency resupply of these items. It would also be helpful to send someone to pick these people up as well as move the debris off of the road. .
