1 Send money by e-mail with other banks than RBC

2 The new email address payments@lyoness.ca and/or office@lyoness .ca is where members can send money to and very important: they must immediately send a regular email to this same address with the password they give for the transfer, so we can accept the money. Make sure to put your ID number and the amount you transferred.

We deposit the money to the members purchase account once a day.

Here are the details of the email money transfer:

What is Interac e-Transfer?

Interac e-Transfer is a service that transfers money directly from your personal bank account to anyone who has an email address and a personal bank account at a Canadian financial institution. (Lyoness will receive the transfers to payments@lyoness.ca and/or office@lyoness.ca where the money will be deposited into your purchase account once a day)

How does it work?

Once you have registered for the Interac e-Transfer service at your online bank (usually it is a free service provided by your bank), it all happens in four easy steps. These steps apply to TD Canada users, but other banks are similar to this:

1. Add Recipient

After registering for email money transfer (usually a free service in your online bank), you will add the name and email address of recipient to your personal Recipient List. You will also create a Security Question and Answer specific to the recipient. This Security Question and Answer, which you create prior to the transfer taking place, is used to ensure the identity of the recipient (that is Lyoness). If the security question is not answered correctly by Lyoness, you will be advised via email and instructed how to deposit the money back into your account. (After we receive the email notification that you are sending money to us, we will be waiting for your regular email to payments@lyoness.ca or office@lyoness.ca containing the Security Answer or password so we can receive the money)

2. Send Money

After completing a 'Send Money' request and receiving a confirmation number, the money will be withdrawn immediately from your bank account. An email will be sent to Lyoness (at payments@lyoness.ca or office@lyoness.ca or both to make sure) advising us of the incoming Interac e-Transfer. Banks usually limit you how much money you can transfer maximum.

3. Receive Money

To receive the money, Lyoness reads the bank`s email notification and follows the instructions (including correctly answering the Security Question that you have to email us with, so we will not be able to accept your transfer until you email us the password).

There is no service fee to receive an Interac e-Transfer. However, the sender must pay a fee. At TD Canada, this comes to $1.50 per transaction and depending on what kind of account the sender has, another $1 may apply. It is still a very cheap solution compared to wire transfers.

4. Complete Transfer

Once Lyoness has deposited the money, you will receive an email notification confirming the completion of the transfer. You should see the money on your purchase account within a day.

How secure is this method of transferring money?

Email carries only the notification of the pending transfer. It does not include any personal account information. To transfer the money between your account and the recipient's account, the banks use reliable and secure payment networks that have been in place for a number of years. Furthermore, to identify the recipient when collecting the money, the recipient must successfully log in to their online banking service and correctly answer the Security Question before receiving the money. This is why we need your email with the password in it.

Other Options:

For bank payments you can:

1) Go to an RBC bank (Royal Bank of Canada) and make a deposit there. Or if you have your own RBC account, you can make an account to account transfer. We require a proof of this payment. Please send a receipt, deposit slip, or confirmation document by fax(416-479-8372) or email to our offices. You must include your name and member ID so we can direct it accordingly.

Payments should be directed to our bank account at RBC: Transit number: 00002   Account number: 1231331

OR

2) You can send a cheque or money order to our office by mail (Address is found below).

*Please note it takes up to 24 hours to book the funds into the Lyoness account from when we receive the proof of payment

For payments:

Please direct payment to the Lyoness account: RBC: 00002 (transit)    1231331 (account)

And fax us the proof of the payment, along with your name and member id.
