Community-Based volunteers: Meet with their "Little" at least every other week for 2-4 hours. Christian Youth in Action (CYIA) - A summer program where college/high school students share the message of the gospel by either being a counselor at Camp Good News (day camp) or a Bible teacher at a 5 Day Club (traveling VBS). 10. Churches United for the HomelessIndividuals: Sort through food, clothing, and household donations.Help prepare and serve lunch time meals to community members and residents.Help residents pick up furniture and move into their new homes.Decorate the shelter for holidays and seasons.Assist in filing documents and data entry.Assist with residents with Clothing Store appointments. Unseen MinistriesOur volunteers do a large variety of tasks here at Unseen. From simple things such as writing thank yous, calling donors, stuffing envelopes, to bigger tasks like representing Unseen at booths, or leading fundraisers. In February we participate in Giving Hearts Day, which is a huge fundraising opportunity for us. We will be in need of a lot of volunteer help around the time of that event.50.
