ANTICIPATED SUMMER SCHOOL POSITIONS FOR SUMMER 2017

I. Pre-School Summer Program: A pre-school integrated summer program will be held from Wednesday,

July 5, 2017 through Friday, July 28, 2017. Pre-school will operate two (2) sessions, 8:15 AM–10:15 AM and 10:30 AM–12:30 PM.

Positions Available: Integrated Preschool Program: Wednesday, July 5, 2017 – Friday, July 28, 2017

Teacher of Pre-School: Approximately 85.5 hours of instruction with 9 hours of preparation for a total of 94.5 hours at $48.00* per hour. NJ Standard Certificate as P–3 Teacher required or knowledge of preschool students with additional NJ Certificate as Teacher of the Handicapped/Students with Disabilities preferred. Experience working with preschoolers/classified preschoolers required preferred. Hours 8:00 AM -12:45 PM

One (1) School Nurse: NJ Standard Certificate as a School Nurse and a License as a Registered Nurse required. The School Nurse hours will be from approximately 8:15 AM–12:30 PM. The School Nurse will provide services for both summer programs at $48.00* per hour for a total of 76.5 hours.

Instructional Aides: Two (2) positions available at $14.00 per hour: High School diploma required. Experience working with preschoolers/classified preschoolers preferred. The two (2) positions will be from 8:00 AM–12:45 PM.

Personal Instructional Aides: One (1) position available at $14.00 per hour: As per AM/PM students’ IEP’s – one (1) position from 8:00 AM – 12:45 PM.

II. Integrated Elementary Summer Program: Wednesday, July 5, 2017 – Friday, July 28, 2017

(9:00 AM–12:00 PM)

Positions Available:

One (1) Teacher of Students with Disabilities/Handicapped: Certification as Teacher of Students with Disabilities/Handicapped required. Experience with Primary classified students preferred to instruct identified students in Language Arts and Math. Sixty-three (63) hours of instruction with 6 hours of Preparation @ $48.00* per hour for a total of 69 hours. Hours 8:45 AM – 12:15 PM.

Two (2) Regular Ed Teachers: Certification in ESL and/or Elementary Ed required. Experience Working with ESL and/or Basic Skills students preferred to instruct identified students in Language Arts and Math. Sixty-three (63) hours of instruction with 6 hours of Preparation per week @ $48.00* per hour for a total of 69 hours. Hours 8:45 AM – 12:15 PM.

Five (5) Personal Instructional Aides: (As per student IEP’s). High School Diploma required.

8:45 AM–12:15 PM at $14.00 per hour. Experience working with classified elementary students preferred.

Substitutes: Substitute positions available for each of the advertised positions at the rate of $48.00* per hour for Teachers/Nurse. The rate of $14.00 for Aides.
