Support includes installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, training, and repair of hardware, software, printers, phone services in a mixed platform, mixed vendor environment. QUALIFICATIONS:Associates or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.Three years of successful technical support experience preferred.Other training through technical education programs, military service, or on the job is highly desirable.Holds valid PA driver’s license with a safe driving record includes insurability.Familiar with MacOS, iPadOS, Microsoft Software, IP Telephony, Network Printing, LAN and WAN concepts.Satisfactory completion of Department of Human Services Child Abuse History Clearance, Pennsylvania State Police Request for Criminal Records Check, and Federal Criminal History Record Information (CHRI)Good oral written communication skills. Excellent technical problem-solving skills. Maturity and integrity when handling confidential data. Flexibility and capability to manage multiple tasks. Ability to prioritize and work independently.JOB GOAL:To provide technology support (hardware and software) for district staff. To assist staff in proper use of hardware and software (includes training). -1269988900-1269988900PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist with technology hardware and software installations, configurations and troubleshooting for the school district.Train staff in setup and operation of technology equipment for routine and special programs.Preview, evaluate, and recommend software (security, backup, help desk, OS, etc.).Supports desktop utilities, office and classroom applications Assist with inventory of technology hardware and software.Assists in monitoring district policies regarding the use of technology. (Acceptable Use Policy, Software, Copyright, etc.)Monitors proper operation and maintenance of district technologies.
