The terrain consist of dense mesquite-filled, rugged pastures, food plots, river bottoms and 72 freshwater lakes where the abundant wild game has easy access to water, cover and food. We set up strategically placed blinds in known travel, feeding and watering areas. Our guides take you into a choice area, stay with you, or drop you off, the choice is yours. Then the guides will bring you back to the lodge for lunch and a rest period. Then it's back out for the evening hunt. Dogs are used if the hunters request them. Our professional guides are always within your immediate area should the need arise. They'll help you field dress or do it for you, whichever you prefer. Dove Texas Dove Hunts Treat your clients, friends and family to the finest Dove Hunting Experience around. We pride ourselves on providing the most active dove fields, delicious home cooked meals, outstanding accommodations and unparalleled customer service. Most of our dove hunts take place in Central Texas, near San Angelo, West Texas near Anson or in the Heart of Texas area, Brown County and Coleman County. Some of our best dove hunts take place over fields of sunflowers in the Bangs, Texas area where native white-wings flourish. We also hunt over watering areas and fields of dove weed, and grain fields, which can be fast and furious. We normally set up our Texas dove hunting as two-day/two-night packages with group sizes normally varying from 9-40 hunters. There is no minimum but to have the lodge to yourself you must book 9 or more. The fully outfitted dove hunt package includes lodging, meals, guides, a First Shot camo hunting cap, bird cleaning and packaging and we send your bird's home with you in a First Shot Outfitters cooler bag. If the Fully Outfitted package doesn't fit your needs then we also offer unassisted day dove hunts.
