He was drafted out of Georgia Tech by the Texas Rangers and made his major league debut in 1986 after just 5 games in the minors.(*) His first full season was 1989 when he led all rookie starters with a 3.35 ERA. In 1995 he went to Baltimore and was 10 and 9 and signed as a free agent the next year with the Marlins. ................
