Complaints against an attorney must be made directly to the Office of Chief Disciplinary Counsel. To file a complaint against an attorney please visit cdc. or call 1-800-932-1900. Attorney complaints filed on this form WILL NOT be processed and no response will be received from this site.

POLICY

Pursuant to State Bar Act Section 81.036, the State Bar of Texas maintains a file on the receipt, investigation, resolution, and communications regarding all written complaints, other than a grievance against an attorney, filed with the State Bar. Please note that anonymous complaints will not be processed.
