Saturday – day at Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania National Military Park – home to various battle sites and memorials

|8:30a |Depart for FSNMP; begin with |

| |Chancellorsville Visitor Center |

| |Saunders Field – where the Battle of the Wilderness began |

| |Widow Tapp Farm and Railroad Cut – climaxes of the encounter |

|12p |Enjoy a boxed lunch |

|1p |Continue tour of FSNMP with: |

| |Spotsylvania Court House battle site – site of Union attack on May 10 |

| |Bloody Angle – site of Union attack that rivaled Spotsylvania Court House |

|5p |Return to Commonwealth Hotel for an evening at your leisure |

Sunday – ½ day to explore additional Richmond sites before heading home to Chapel Hill
