Marketing Student Intern – 1 position available

Dream Centers is a local nonprofit to the Pikes Peak Region and is seeking a Marketing Student Intern to join the Development Marketing team. The Student Intern will participate in a variety of initiatives supporting the development and marketing efforts of Dream Centers.

Start Date: August 1st, 2020

End Date: December 11th, 2020

*also dependent on the student’s college semester

Education:

Prefer a candidate that is currently a junior or senior in college.

Majoring in Communications, Marketing, or a related field working toward a bachelor’s degree

Minimum Requirements:

Must understand general marketing principles, branding and marketing material development

Attention to detail

Experience in Microsoft Office and eagerness to learn marketing software

Ability to prioritize and work multiple tasks simultaneously.

Strong interpersonal skills and team player attitude; comfortable working in groups

In a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and follows the Nicene Creed

Strong grammar and writing skills

Must be ready to laugh, eat donuts and ready to run with our team(figuratively)

Essential Functions, this may include but is not limited to:

Write/research website content and other marketing materials as needed

Develop creative social media content when needed

Assist/Write media announcements

Assist/Write monthly e-news

Assist with webinar production

Assist with create and print production

Assist with events

Maintain/inventory marketing materials and branded giveaways

Ladies Tea Save the Date postcard – 4 by 6-inch design, vertical or horizontal. In the past we have incorporated tea, flowers, springtime, etc. into the design. This event is our annual fundraising event catered to an audience of women coming together to support the women Dream Centers’ serves at Women’s Clinic and Mary’s Home. Please include a title for the Ladies Tea event with a tagline. Make sure there is room for a date, time, and venue location. Don’t forget about branding and include the Dream Centers logo. In your interview, you can go into more detail about your postcard. Be creative and show us something unique!
