Title of Study: Parental Self-Disclosure

Participation Credits: 3 credits

Time (duration): Approximately 45 minutes

Brief Description of Study:

Each participant will be asked to complete a questionnaire indicating the amount of disclosure their parents have made about their own adolescent experiences. Some of the questions may be sensitive in nature as they request the student to discuss the extent of parental disclosures about topics such as sexual behavior, substance use,

and personal failures.

Participation Criteria

Students between the ages of 18 to 30 may participate in this study.

Location

Class participants will be given the questionnaire electronically in the classroom SS 325 at assigned times and asked to complete it.

Times the survey will be administered:

Monday, October 15th 8 am - 10:30 am

Tuesday, October 16th 12 pm – 2:30 pm

Thursday, October 18th 12 pm – 2:30 pm

Monday, October 22nd 8 am - 10:30 am

Tuesday, October 23rd 12 pm – 2:30 pm

Thursday, October 24th 12 pm – 2:30 pm

Monday, October 28th 8 am - 10:30 am

Tuesday, October 29th 12 pm – 2:30 pm

Thursday, October 31th 12 pm – 2:30 pm
