While there is light to the end of this pandemic, requests for the Center of Hope's assistance are still elevated and they continue to face obstacles in holding their own annual fundraisers making all donations that much more valuable. This month's Member of the Month is Whitney Vaughan. Whitney is currently the Assistant Community Manager with Renew Wichita and has over 9 years of leasing/marketing experience. Whitney's favorite part of her job is planning and hosting resident events, as she always brings "out of the box" ideas to the table. When asked why she chooses to support the AAGW she says, "The AAGW goes beyond just the apartment industry. They make it their mission to help contribute to those organizations that help our residents on a daily basis, i.e.: Center of Hope, Open Door, Red Cross."

Whitney earned her NALP designation through association classes in 2018 and frequently attends meetings and education sessions. Her favorite AAGW event to attend is the Star of Excellence Awards. "Limos, red carpets, gorgeous dresses, and celebrating accomplishments is a great highlight to the industry." Thank You, Whitney, for your continued support and dedication to the AAGW.

Formerly The Inn at Tallgrass, the 76 unit property has recently completed renovation work adding new appliances, flooring, paint and exterior landscaping to now offer beautiful one and two bedroom apartments. Amenities include an outdoor swimming pool with sundeck, fire pit, grill and lounge area, along with an indoor clubhouse.
