Living Stewardship

"Blessed are they who have not seen and have believed," Jesus says in today's Gospel. For those who have not seen to believe, however, we must be good stewards of our faith, living it joyfully and sharing it generously. Then, in our time too, "men and women in great numbers" will be "added to the Lord."

AFTER-EASTER THANK YOU

Our community changed lives this Lent through CRS Rice Bowl, and we want to say THANK YOU! Don't forget to turn in your CRS Rice Bowl at church this weekend or in the parish office this week or donate online at give.

St. Leo's KC Breakfast ? Apr 24

Knights of Columbus Council 9906 will serve a breakfast on Sunday, April 24, from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. Menu: Pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, coffee, and juice. A free-will offering will support emergency assistance programs. Donate your extra MarketPlace Foods gas/grocery stamps.

St. John the Apostle A Stewardship Parish

The most vibrant stewardship parishes are those in which parishioners know that they are welcome, which fosters a sense of ownership and personal involvement in living stewardship in the parish family.

Society of St. Vincent de Paul

In the Gospel today, Jesus stands in the midst of us and says: "Peace be with you!" Indeed, the mercy of God centers our heart in peace. In the month of April, through your gifts, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul was able to help the poor celebrate the peace of Easter, by assisting many families, providing food, transportation, household goods and assisting with utility bills. 701-833-1269 We are especially in need of size 5 diapers

and gas stamps this month.

Word of Life

For those who have participated in an abortion and feel they have committed an unforgiveable sin:

May they come to know the Lord's limitless mercy, and turn to Him for forgiveness and healing; We pray to the Lord:

Jesus' Compassion

Those needing spiritual and physical healing lie close to Jesus' heart.

(Matt 14:14; 15:32; 20:34).

Pray Always for Our Priests and Religious

We pray daily for Pope Francis, for our Bishops, our Priests, Deacons, Brothers, Nuns, all those in discernment, and for more religious vocations.

Pray Daily for Our Military

We pray daily for our troops and their families who have, and continue to sacrifice so much for us. We burn red, white and blue candles for them and all veterans every Friday in St. John's.

Pray for All Caregivers

We pray in gratitude for all in-home caregivers, doctors, nurses, medical personnel, first

responders and for all our law enforcement.

Vocation Views God has chosen to dwell with us. How can I best share my gifts to reveal His presence? (Revelations 21:1-5)

"If today you hear His voice, Harden not your hearts." Ps: 95

Pray for Peace in Ukraine

Pope Francis has asked all Catholics to fast and pray for the war's end. Mother Mary and St. Michael, pray for all those suffering because of the war.

God Share Appeal April 30th & May 1st

The 65th Annual God's Share Appeal will be held next week in our parish. Just as we are one in the Body of Christ, we must remember that we are one with other parishes in our diocese. Bishop Kagan is asking each of us to make a commitment to support our diocesan ministry. This effort is a means by which we can all work together to care for the Church by sharing the gifts God has entrusted to us. Our parish goal is 100% participation and with your gift we can do it. Please experience the joy of giving and join us as we work to continue God's work of spirituality, charity and education.
