Forensic Science Timeline

Goal: To summarize the main important events in the history of forensic science.

Directions: Go to the following URL and print out or use the document titled, “History of Forensics”



Each of the individual entries at the site above corresponds to a historical event in Forensic Science. Your goal is to use only 30 of the entries to build a timeline of forensic science discoveries. Summarize in your own words each entry you use. Your timeline should adequately represent the entire span of the timeline. You may use bullet format.

Your timeline must include the following:

- All legal cases.

- The important persons in the history of forensics (ex. “Father of toxicology, etc.)
