Rich Dad, Poor Dad Presentation

Directions: You have just been hired as a sales person for Robert Kiyosaki to sell his book Rich Dad, Poor Dad to various bookstores. He needs you to create an attractive PowerPoint presentation that you will present in front of potential bookstore buyers (like Barnes and Noble, Waldenbooks, etc.)

Here is what he wants you to include:

➢ 15 important concepts that can be learned from the book (and explained on the PowerPoint) Your chapter questions could probably help you with this.

➢ Why should people read this book and learn about financial responsibility? He wants you to include statistics and facts about Americans and debt, investments, and any other facts you deem relevant to include

➢ A bio of Kiyosaki. It cannot come from the book’s bio! Do a little research on the web about him. Why should anyone trust his financial advice?

➢ Find two other “financial knowledge” book for consumers. They do NOT have to be by Kiyosaki. Make sure they would be complements to Rich Dad, Poor Dad. For example, if someone read Rich Dad, Poor Dad, what two other books should someone read that they would enjoy? Include a short description of both of the books (you probably haven’t read them yet, so find a description online, but put into your own words as if you have read them!)

➢ Anything else you would like to include to make the “sale!” Be creative and THINK OF SOMETHING! (

➢ A works cited slide(s) that cites all of the internet sources you used for this presentation.

Due: Tuesday, May 24.
