These packages include 1-hour rehearsal the day before, 3-hour rental of the Anthony Chapel, Millsap Bride's Hall, & Evans Groom's Quarters on the day-of, a sound technician and sound system, a property manager, a security guard, entry into Garvan Woodland Gardens on the day-of for all wedding guests, and a complimentary Bridal Portrait Session in the Gardens (must be reserved 2 weeks ahead) for up to 5 people including the photographer and assistant.

How many guests can fit in each location?

Anthony Chapel ? 160 guests Garvan Pavilion ? 100 to 150 guests Magnolia Room ? 80 guests seated, 100 standing Perry Wildflower Overlook ? 30 to 40 guests

What is the difference between my initial deposit and my damage deposit?

Initial deposits reserve the desired space and date. It is half of the total price and must be paid upon booking. Damage deposit is $500 and is due with the final payment. It is completely refundable after your event given that no damages are incurred and all policies are followed.

When is my final payment due?

30 days before your event

What if my event is during Holiday Lights?

Holiday Lights is from mid-November through December 31. During this time, all events must be completed by 4 p.m., and no evening weddings are allowed. Garvan Woodland Gardens will also be decorated for Christmas, meaning some venues may have decorations that may not be removed for your event.

Does GWG offer extra rentals?

For additional fees, GWG offers some rentals including circulations fans, sound system, extra chairs, tablecloths, etc.

Can I add time onto my rental period?

With advance notice, some venues allow for additional time to be added to a standard rental period.

Are any discounts offered?

GWG offers a 10% discount for GWG Members at the Fellow level and above.

Which holidays are subject to holiday pricing?

MLK Day, Valentine's Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Christmas Eve, & New Year's Eve. Garvan Woodland Gardens is closed Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's days; and events will not be booked on these days.

Do I need a coordinator?

Yes, GWG requires a day-of coordinator to keep the schedule for your special day. The coordinator must remain on-site for the entire span of your rental period.

What does my coordinator need to provide to GWG?

The coordinator needs to provide GWG with an event timeline 14 days prior.

Can my coordinator celebrate with us?

Your coordinator is welcome to celebrate the day with you; however, he or she may not consume alcoholic beverages during your event.

Will GWG help me hire a coordinator?

Contracting a coordinator for your day is your responsibility.
