One interpretation is that the Munich Putsch helped the Nazis become well known through all of Germany because of what happened with the Putsch. The following pieces of evidence can be used to interpret the impact of the Putsch. Study these and answer the question that follows. Evidence 1 This evidence is from the Rise and Fall of the Third Reich, written by William Shirer who was an American journalist who lived in Berlin in the 1930s and later wrote a detailed history of Nazi Germany.Hitler was shrewd enough to see that his trial would provide a new platform from which he could for the first time make his name known far beyond Bavaria and indeed Germany… By the time it ended… Hitler had transformed defeat into triumph… impressed the German people by his eloquence and the fervour of his nationalism, and emblazoned his name on the front pages of the world.Evidence 2 This evidence is from Karl von Muller, a historian who was present in the Beer Hall when Hitler launched the Putsch in 1923. He would later give evidence against Hitler at the trial. The general mood- I can of course judge only from my surroundings, but I think this represented the general feeling in the hall- was still against the whole business of Hitler taking over. The change of mood only came only after Hitler second speech... but he had to fire a shot to be heard and I think on that occasion he shouted: “ If you are not quiet I shall have a machine gun put up in this gallery”.Evidence 3 This evidence is from a History textbook Germany 1918-45: a depth study written by Historians Greg Lacey and Keith Shepherd and used to teach GCSE History, here they are writing about the impact that the Munich Putsch had on the Nazi Party. It was at this point that Hitler seemed to snatch some kind of victory out of the jaws of defeat. The trial gave him a national platform on which to speak…Newspapers throughout Germany and around the world reported his claim that he had led the movement against the ‘treasonable’ Weimar systemOne interpretation is that the Munich Putsch helped the Nazi Party. How far do you agree with this interpretation? [10] In your answer you should use the evidence above and your own knowledge of how and why there are different interpretations of Nazi youth policy.………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………END OF QUESTION 2 QUESTION 3 This question is about the defeat of Germany in World War 2Was the impact of Allied bombing the most important reasons for the defeat of Germany in 1945? [12] In your answer you should discuss the impact of the various factors which caused the defeat of Germany, including the effects of the Allied Bombing.Marks for spelling, punctuation and the accurate use of grammar are allocated to this question.
